Who Influences You?

Updated: Nov 18, 2022

Who do you let influence you? Proverbs 1:10 says “if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.”

Those who promote evil are vying for your attention, approval, and even involvement. As twenty-first century Christians, we are faced with a barrage of sinful temptations promoted by others.

Whether it’s through social media, music, movies, or even in person, the world around us is full of enticing influences. One of the key elements to spiritual and mental success is to learn how to “abhor that which is evil, and cleave to that which is good.” (Romans 12:9)

Surround yourself with Christ-like people who have the joy of the Lord in their heart.

Remember, “If sinners entice thee,“ AND THEY WILL, “consent thou not,” and your heart will both be liberated from guilt, and strengthened with joy.
